Community Involvement

In addition to servicing retirees and pre-retirees in the Sarasota area, IWM is consistently supporting local charities and nonprofits for the betterment of the community. Sam has a strong relationship with USS Vets, a local nonprofit organization that reaches out to veaterans and serves as an advocate on their behalf. The partnership offers these men and women the support and guidance they need to qualify for federal benefit programs and provide for their future. In addition to working with older generations, Sam knows that care and kindness is necessary for individuals of all ages. He invests time and resources in helping the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks put money back into the community, particularly in programs for local youth. These programs encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle and remain drug free. Lastly, Sam and his wife, Laurie, hold a special place in their hearts for promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month and supporting several local chapters of breast cancer causes. Each October, they sponsor local events and work to mobilize clients to participate and get involved in the cause.
