I have known Sam and Laurie for about 5 years, having attended one of their Investment Seminars at Flemings Steakhouse. At the time, I had been working with various other Investment Advisors, and was pretty dissatisfied with the majority of them, and wary of the rest.
Sam was very patient, and stayed in touch for a couple of years after our initial introduction. One of the reasons that I procrastinated on meeting with Sam for a second visit was, as I always told my wife, Pauline, “he’s too nice to be any good at this”.
Finally, it became evident that I had put my trust is the wrong advisors, and I sought a meeting with Sam. Sam shared his investment strategy with Pauline and me, and we decided to give him a chance. We invested cautiously and gradually became more confident. We quickly became friends and felt like family more than business acquaintances.
As our confidence grew, we even brought my family members into the IWM fold, and were confident they too would feel comfortable and secure with Sam and Laurie’s style and strategy.
We now spent a lot less time worrying about our investments; and rest assured that, as our needs change, IWM will be there meet them.
